VETERANS roll out in Jeep at 2007 Parade

WESTON MEMORIAL  DAY  PARADE  MAY 29, 2006:
Weston RTC contingent (so many Republicans it was hard to tell how many walkers or vehicles we had!!!)

State Representative (135th District) John Stripp leads the way, waving to his constituents, in appropriately RED convertible...

Republican women march with RTC banner (in front of historic district home of former State Senator and First Selectman George Guidera's law offices)...the former First Selectman and his extended family had a great view before the crowds arrived in force!!!

"W" stands for...WESTON, of course (in this context), as "Big Bird" waves to the crowd;  NOTE:  we missed the spectacular signs of Governor Rell and the Chris Shays campaign - will get one soon and put it up!!!

NOTE:  WHAT DID THE 'W' STAND FOR?
How about 'Weston" or maybe 'Wonderful Weather..."  Isn't that one cool chicken?

Check out the super sign from RTC photo blow up from Convention 2006!  The other side (out of our view) had Congressman Shays posters!!!  We are proud of our candidates!!!  NOTE:  RTC notes in a letter to the editor June 2, 2011 that these displays of partisanship did not really belong in the Memorial Day Parade.
